8AM! We had to be at the school gate at 8AM! Today we went to the coke cola factory where they made coke! However it wasn’t our day, we didn’t get to see how they produce the coke because they stopped production as there was enough stock in their warehouse. From this you can tell that they are not good at forecasting how much is needed at each time, and plenty of losses will be incurred because of it! Therefore proper forecasting is very important to any business!
We got a tour around the factory, there were plenty of different monuments that coke has over the past years here in China! From giant coke bottle (it’s a fridge) to tiny collar pins of different countries (Singapore included)
While we were about to leave the factory, we noticed that there was a fridge that was unguarded and full of coke! What’s visiting a coke factory without getting some souvenir? We quickly ran back to get one bottle each for memory sake.
After the tour we were sent back to the hostel and I didn’t step out of the hostel after that

Reflection:
From the factory, i realised being an MNC isn’t easy; a lot of work must be put in, in order to keep the reputation of the product at its best. Take example, they use a lot of Taiwan singers and actors to promote their products, even if its a household brand all over the world, they still put in an effort to promote the products instead of leaving it stagnant.
